Guess how long China’s longest beach #walkway is? Nearly 12,000 meters long, and if you go down the entire path, you have just finished a quarter of a marathon.
Qinhuangdao city, Hebei Province, has built a new wooden walkway of 4,200 meters, which will connect with the existing 7,500-meter-long one to create China’s longest walkway, extending from a cruise terminal to a wetland park in Beidaihe.
The walkway connects eight renowned scenic spots along the coastline, creating a natural leisure ecological walking path for both national tourists and those from abroad.
The port city is best known for Beidaihe, a summer resort that boasts beautiful beaches more than 20 kilometers long.
