India has always supported peace, stability, unity and development of Nepal. In the last two decades, we all have witnessed violence, instability, internal struggle and political discord in Nepal, as well as its negative consequences. Nepal had not yet emerged from this crisis, when a major earthquake in April 2015 wreaked havoc and caused major destruction in the country.

The couple said they have been closely bonded ever since they became husband and wife 55 years ago. On their wedding day, they promised to take care of each other for the rest of their life, and they have never broken that vow no matter what.

Kathmandu, city, capital of Nepal, in the central part of the country. A 24-year-old man from southwest China's Sichuan Province has gained popularity in his town for his "tie tou gong" (iron head).
The young man called Zhao Yue performs kung fu tricks that include lying face down on four steel spears (with one placed on his throat), hitting his head with an iron bar, and forcing a steel bar to his throat.

Icemen challenge extreme cold in northeast China

‪#‎IceBucketChallenge‬. Ten winter swimming enthusiasts in Harbin, northeast China’s Heilongjiang Province, participated in the Ice King Challenge on Saturday. With the temperature hitting -11 degrees, the contestants took to the city center ready with buckets of ‪#‎snow‬.

For nine of them, the challenge was stay firm as volunteers poured 10 buckets of snow on them, while the really extreme challenge went to one particular contestant named ‪#‎JinSonghao‬. He had to manage 100 buckets of snow being dumped on him within 100 minutes.

China arrests over 60,000 in nationwide drug bust

#‎Chinese‬ authorities have arrested 60,500 people for drug crimes and captured 11.4 tons of narcotics as part of a nationwide war on drugs.
From September to December last year, police took on 52,800 drug cases in the campaign titled "Banning Drugs in a Hundred Cities", according to the Ministry of Public Security.

As of mid-December, it had seized around 268,000 ‪#‎drug‬ users. Of these, nearly 70,000 have been sent to compulsory rehabilitation centers.

Kidnapped man reunited with his family after 24-year

It was memories of a backyard well that first made 28-year-old Sun Bin understand the family he was living with was not his own, the missing well belonging to his birth parents. Now, 24 years later, he has finally tracked them down.

In 1991, 4-year-old Sun was ‪#‎kidnapped‬ from a food market in Chengdu, Sichuan Province, where his father was selling vegetables. He was eventually taken to Xuzhou, Jiangsu Province, over 1500 kilometers away from his hometown and given to new parents.

Last of Nepal's car porters recalls life without roads

At 92, Dhan Bahadur Gole is the last known survivor of a generation of porters who carried luxury cars on foot across steep mountain passes to Nepal's rulers in Kathmandu. Before the Himalayan nation built its first highway in 1956 only the capital city had paved roads, and porters were the only means of getting cars to the wealthy Rana dynasty. Gole had never even heard of cars when he started working as a porter at the age of 20, let alone seen one.

Report- "Up to 8,000 Nepali girls trafficked to Dubai"

NEW DELHI: A multi-agency international operation, led by Central Bureau of Investigation, has stumbled upon an organized racket of trafficking of young Nepalese girls to Dubai for alleged prostitution and Delhi's IGI airport is the transit point for their travelling to the gulf country.
The investigation has revealed that nearly 6000-8000 Nepalese girls aged between 20 to 30 years have been trafficked to Dubai via Delhi till December 2014.
The agency has informed the ministry of external affairs, ministry of home affairs, bureau of immigration and Nepal authorities through Interpol about the organized syndicate, which sends the girls on tourist visas.
The sources said during the inquiry which was being covertly conducted by the agency, probe officers collected information from Foreign Regional Registration Office, Air India, Qatar Airways, Bureau of Immigration and 15 travel agents based in Delhi.
